1.
Canadian Raising: the first half of a head-initial diphthong is
raised to mid before a voiceless C
A和B的差别在於A都是voicelss C，B 则是voiced C
[vj] is derived from [aj] b/c the latter has the most general distribution.
2.
A和B差在B的最後一个音节都是branching coda
C虽然没有branching coda，但是V都是tensed vowel
这题得是普通美加口音比较没问题，有些口音recall的call是发[open o],
which is a lax vowel; it basically patterns like other tensed vowels though
