标题[问题] VP的complement

请问板上高手都是如何分辨VP的complement?
尤其是带着的PP...更难分...
NP的complement是指NP的内涵,
这个比较好懂,
可是VP呢?
讲内涵好像又不太对...囧>
例如
Bill may [turn against John]
I [agree with you over this]
第一个我觉得
against John 是 turn 的 complement...是吗?!
第二个我觉得
with you 是 agree 的 complement, over this 是 adjunct,
可是讲 I agree 好像也可以, 这样 with you 就会变成 optional (adjunct)
矛盾了......
可以请高手帮忙一下吗? 〒▽〒
