标题[问题] 当内含子句中Inflection是empty时...

今天看Transformaional Grammar: A First Cousre
6.5 Internal S of S
有一段是说Infl是empty时,Agreement和Tense的重担会跑到Verb
所以例句是: "....that John likes you."

这个我还懂。
不过另一句就不解了。ꔊ
The committee may insist that he resign.
以前学过有一种特殊动词他的子句中动词必须是原形。
如果我没记错的话，好像是说子句动词前有省略Infl "should"。不过现在这样
看来这种说法也不通...就算Infl省略，那麽resign也要反应tense加上'-s'。
可以请高人帮我解惑嘛...???感谢感谢
