这是不同 argument structure 的情况. 就像 read 可以是
[ __ NP] 或 [ __ ].
但是, 就算是不及物用法的 read, 还是有一个 understood object
在那儿. student of physics = one who is learning physics
student = one who is learning (something).
adjunct 少掉了, 语意就没了.

: adjunct 可有可无
: ex. the student with long hair ---> with long hair 可以删掉
: 那岂不是 complement 也变成可有可无??!!
