这次获奖者有两位 ( 另一位为中国艺术家 / 民权人士艾未未 ),
不过亚洲媒体大多聚焦於艾未未, Joan Baez 获奖的消息未见太多报导.

"Baez became involved in civil rights activism in the 1960s and helped esta-
-blish local Amnesty International groups in San Francisco in the early 1970s.
She said she was "proud" to be honoured, adding: "Amnesty International
attracted me because of its founding principle that all human rights abuses
and the suffering they create are unacceptable." "
无论如何, 恭喜长期致力於民权运动的 Joan Baez. :)
