属於生科系自己的读书会？！ 每次看到参考书目里面一大堆的专业论文就眼花撩乱、不知从何下手吗？ 觉得课本里写的知识不够完整或太老旧，但不知要到哪去查新资讯吗？ 每一篇paper都密密麻麻地写一大堆，不知该怎麽读起？ 这个读书会，让你有机会与其他同学一同开启学术文献世界的大门； 第一次聚会会由学长带领进行开场白及介绍， 并也会在其中讨论此读书会未来的进行方式！ 欢迎有兴趣的各位到NTULS97Study板上repo自己可以的时间~~~ 以下为目前暂定的聚会大纲(由明翰学长拟定) ------ Introduction to Academic Literature Survey and Reading Aim Know how to search scientific literature Know what the content in a scientific journal is Know what the structure of a paper is and how to read it Know how to manage your personal literature library Outline Academic literature search engine and database: Google Scholar NCBI Web of Science Journal Citation Report Faculty 1000 The content of a journal ex: Nature The structure of a paper Abstract, Introduction, Result, Discussion, Material & Method The three paper-reading stages Background knowledge The thread of paper Critical Reading Reference management software: Endnote Personal library Import reference Search through Endnote We will discuss our study group/ journal club format in this summer vacation. ---------- 几种读书会进行的方式： 1. 材料：主题书籍 Review Research higtlight, abstract Research article 2. 进行方式：集体讨论 专题报告 这几种方法各有优缺点 结构完整：主题书籍 > review > research highlight > research article 资讯新颖：主题书籍 < review < research highlight < research article 读Research article有不可取代的特色是训练判读数据的能力、了解论文推论逻辑 但是大家的负担比较大，可能读短短一篇论文要查很多资料 而且论文的知识累积比较少，知识片段零散。看完一篇近十页论文的结论，可能只等同 於课文或是review的一小段文字；如果每次选择论文主题分散，那知识片段就更难连在 一起了 进行方式如果是集体讨论，每个人每次都一定要准备，每周都要平均花费时间，每次 讨论主题都会有参与、对内容有印象。 如果是轮流专题报告，那花费的时间和准备内容会比较集中。 我目前主意的方式是集体讨论research article，一周花费二小时一起讨论一篇论文 每个人都可以选一篇论文给大家读。为了弥补知识零散的问题，可能会要求选一篇 有research highlight, preview或是科学人介绍的research article，意思就是找 另一篇介绍背景知识的文章帮忙建立知识架构。 --
