Criticism can sometimes be a form of flattery. Although it may not seem that w ay, when a person takes the time to offer a critique of something you are doin g or have done, it means they think you can do better, and they value your eff orts. That's not always the case, of course, but right now, this wisdom may ap ply. If someone offers you guidance or feedback that is less than praiseful, i t may mean that they can see your potential, and they are applauding it.
