邀请了20位 NBA 高级主管、球队教练以及总经理(包括11位球队总经理)
对新赛季的冠军所属进行了投票预测。
在最後的投票结果中，
热火以巨大优势位列榜首。
湖人和雷霆分列二、三位。
最终结果，
热火获得16张第一选择投票、1 张第二选择投票和2张第三选择投票；
湖人获得 2张第一选择投票、10张第二选择投票和6张第三选择投票，
雷霆获得 2张第一选择投票、6 张第二选择投票和9张第三选择投票。
(20位高级主管中有3人只进行了第一选择投票，没有进行第二和第三选择投票)。
