标题[问题] 有关movement/study group的翻译(社会科学文章)

最近在阅读一些讨论政治的文章
发现有些英文单字会有另一种意思 或是虽然懂这个字 却整句文意不通
底下是想问问 movement 除了翻成 行动
是否还可以解释成 组织?
例如这句:
Several members of the two major antisocialist movements
－commonly known as the U Than movement and the Hmaing Centenary movement.
以及
...allowed these informal study groups to organize a nationwide
democratic movement.
以上的movement 是否翻译成 组织 或是? 该怎麽翻比较好呢
另关於study group 的翻译
Given such brutal actions on the government's part in the 1970s,
no major antigovernment activities occurred in the first half of
the 1980s. Most informal study groups confined their activities
to discussing the country's political and economic problems and...
另一段落

另外想请教各位 study group 除了读书会 是否还有一个"视察团"的意思?
那麽视察团又是什麽? 因为我找不到关於视察团的定义
想了解 视察团 是属於政府底下的团体 还是人民所组成
还是上文里所提到的study group 可以翻成学生组织?
还有student union(s) in universities 是否翻为 学校里的"学生自治会"?
关於这种社会科学的一些用字 是否有专用字典可以查询呢?
一般书局有在卖吗?因为最近需要看比较多社会科学(政治)的英文文章
