There are teams devoted to Long Beach - you know the Newman-Haas and Forsythe teams will run - but it's going to be interesting to see exactly how many teams commit. This is in general a good thing for open-wheel racing, and a lot of great names will return to Long Beach in 2009 under the IRL banner, But here's hoping the race itself is compensated for its status in 2008. --
