As a senior, Cook led Illinois in scoring 22 times and was the Illini's leading rebounder 20 times. Scored at least 15 points in 27 of his 30 games, including 18 games of 20-plus points. Cook recorded eight double-doubles on the season. Named preseason Big Ten Player of the Year by the media.
