标题[问题] 论文里面用appendix在索引无法显示?

我用的是book (有试过用report，但结果一样)
\begin{document}
\tableofcontents
\listoftables
\listoffigures
\chapter{Introduction}
\chapter{...}
到最後有appendix
如果我用
\appendix
整个附注那页就变成没有标题
如果我用
\chapter*{Appendix}
则附注那页有标题 "Appendix"
但两种在\tableofcontents 的那页Contents
都不会显示Appendix 囧
请问有人在论文用过Appendix吗？要怎样才会出现在索引呢？
