标题[问题] 有没有把def展开的方式或指令？

想请问一下，Tex/LaTex有没有提供什麽方式或指令，能够展开像def定义出来的新标记？
就像C++的inline function或macro一样，经过preprocessing後，就将定义的内容
代换到文本中每一次叫用的位置。
因为在整理文件的时候，有时看别人写的tex, 他会自己定义许多缩写，然後放在独立
的档案再include进来。这样直接看tex的话可读性很差，所以我想将这些定义的东西
还原成标准的Tex标记後比较好阅读
PS: 我是在Linux上写tetex的
