标题[问题] 定义Eq之下，仍能按照1.1编码

\documentclass[12pt, a4paper]{book}
\renewcommand{\theequation}{Eq.\arabic{equation}}
我在全文\begin{document}之前，加入这个新定义，所以在\chapter之下的方程式
结果为""Eq.1""
但是我希望能出现Eq1.1这应该要怎嚜做呢?
