标题[问题] listoftables

我有一个table的caption，描述的很多，如下:
Table 1-1. The top two rows are xxxx; the bottom row is xxxxxxxxxxx and
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

|__________________________________________________________________
|__________________________________________________________________
|__________________________________________________________________
然而在使用\listoftables，会把所有caption的字编入目录中，想请问要如何
只把第一句描述The top two rows are xxx.编入目录中就好。
