DARIUS MORRIS SIGNED TO 10-DAY CONTRACT

The Los Angeles Clippers announced today that they have signed guard Darius
Morris to a 10-day contract.
Morris, started the season with the Philadelphia 76ers where he averaged 6.9
points and 2.6 assists in 12 games before being waived on Nov. 20. The
third-year player has career averages of 4.1 points, 1.6 assists and 1.1
rebounds in 79 games (17 starts) with the 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. A
Los Angeles native, Morris was the 41st overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by
the Lakers out of the University of Michigan.
The 6’4” point guard played two seasons for the Wolverines, earning third
team All Big-Ten honors as a sophomore with averages of 15.0 points, 6.7
assists and 4.0 rebounds.
