The Wizards definitely weren't the victims of a highway robbery by any stretch because with the trade the team surrounded No. 1 pick John Wall with a veteran point guard and secured the rights to an interior banger with solid potential, but at the end of the day no one, at least for now, will be counting the Wizards' newest assets as a win for what the Bulls may be able to pull off after July 1. Miami also acquired the Thunder's No. 32 overall pick. The move created an additional $3.4 million in cap space strengthening its position to persuade Stoudemire, Johnson or Bosh this summer to play alongside Wade. Riley also used the second-round to draft steady collegiate players that have the ability to make the roster but will count at a much smaller rate toward the cap. Dexter Pittman (No. 32) has battled weight issues and still weighs over 300 pounds, but has lost over 100 pounds since his high school playing days. The former University of Texas Longhorn will provide a big body in the paint to compensate for the likely loss of centers Joel Anthony and Jermaine O'Neal in free agency. Jarvis Varnado (No. 41) is the all-time leading shot blocker in NCAA Division I history and fits the mold of a defensive role player perfectly. The shooting guard is also extremely athletic and has the ability to fill up the offensive box score sheet quickly. Aminu averaged an impressive 10 rebounds per game for the Demon Deacons last season and excels in the open court. Last year's No. 1 pick, Blake Griffin, will take on the bulk of the power forward minutes if healthy so Aminu will have time to develop into a rotational player as a rookie. Bledsoe will backup veteran guard Baron Davis and is a great on-ball defender and streaky shooter from the perimeter. Hinrich adds a consistent scorer and defender that can step in and play starter minutes. Seraphin projects to be a solid role player due to his rebounding and shot blocking potential.
