Clippers Sign Shaun Livingston
The Clippers today signed rookie point guard Shaun Livingston, who the team
selected with the fourth overall selection in the 2004 NBA Draft. Per team
policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Livingston, named the 2004 Mr. Basketball in Illinois, averaged 18.0 points,
6.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game as a senior in leading Peoria Central
to their second consecutive state championship.
Named to the McDonald’s 2004 All-America Team, Livingston originally
committed to play for Duke University before declaring for the 2004 NBA Draft.
The 6’7” Livingston was also named Co-MVP of the 2004 EA Sports Roundball
Classic.
