这只螳螂来自南美，她从小生长在一个处於无止境内战中的国家。 就在她小的时候村庄在敌人的攻击中被烧毁。 由於被敌人的歼灭部队追击，她被迫离开了她的家人。 最後在几乎没有命的情况之下，她躲进了一座建筑物的地下室。 那是间死屍堆放处。 几乎所有屍体都是被折磨致死的。 她因为过度惊吓而目瞪口呆。 但是当她听到军靴沈重的声音伴随着尖叫哭喊从她身上经过时，她更是吓得汗毛直竖。 她跌跌撞撞的横越这间临时的拷问所时有人锁上了门，她被困在里面了。 被困在这黑暗潮湿又充满恶臭的地方。 拷问的尖叫哭喊声围绕着她，她完全无法入睡。 她能作的只有缩紧身体在房间的角落颤抖着。 一个星期...然後又是十天过去了。 她虽然靠着偶而从上方流淌下来的臭水补充水分，但是依然没有食物。 被困在这样的地方，饥饿再加上半疯狂状态让她的心灵开始扭曲。 你知道母螳螂会吃掉她的伴侣吗？ 惨叫声白天晚上都不断的持续着，她只能徒劳的摀着耳朵。 然後，她得救了... 她不是很清楚是谁救了她。 在她的脑里只有一只母螳螂吞掉了她的爱人。 就像是一个巨大又扭曲的白日梦。 当然不可能有什麽螳螂，那只是一个幻觉。 只不过是有人在她脑里创造出来的故事。 她不稳定的心理状态让她变成一个容易受伤的人。 之後那些人又用药物跟催眠摧毁了她最後的人格，然後值入Psycho Mantis(一代头目)的人格记忆。 控制BB部队并不是她本身的意识，而是她脑中的Psycho Mantis利用半同化的方式进入她的灵魂，拉起玩偶身上的线。 尖叫螳螂只不过是另一个牵线木偶而已。 总之，当时的她在那个地狱挣扎生存了几个星期之後终於回到了地面。 但是脑中的尖叫却从此留在那里。 这些声音会永远的在她脑中...只不过实际上那些尖叫并不是真的。 就算是耳塞也不会有用，黑色的螳螂已经消失了。 没有地方躲藏，也没有地方逃避。 这也是为什麽她总是尖叫--为了盖过她脑内的声音。 ※ 引述《jyuny1 (凯文蓝)》之铭言： : Mantis came form South America, she was born and rised in a country wracked : by never-ending civil wars. : Her village was attacked by enemy forces and burned to the ground. : This was when she was still a little girl. : Hunted by enemy death squads, she was separated from her family. : She barely managed to escape with her life...Ended up in the basement of this : one building. : It was full of corpses that had been dumped there. : Almost all of them had been tortured to death. : She was petrified with fear. : And then she heard the sound of heavy boots on the floor above her, followed : by shrieking screams, the kind that would make every hair on your body stand : straight up. : She had stumbled across a makeshift torture chamber. : Somebody had locked the door, and she was trapped. : It was dark, it was dank.
