Melo's jersey sales reach new high

We're only nine days into April and Carmelo Anthony has scored 40-plus points
over three straight games, eclipsed Kevin Durant as the NBA's top scorer and
has led the Knicks to a league-best 12-game winning streak. In doing so, he
was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Just a day later, Melo has a new honor to his name: For the first time since
the NBA started releasing jersey sales rankings in the 2001-02 season, he is
the first Knicks player to lead the list. The rankings are based on combined
sales at the NBA Store in New York City and on NBAStore.com from Nov. 2012 to
the present.

Anthony climbed from No. 4 to take the top spot from LeBron James, who
slipped to No. 2. Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose round out the
first five. Melo's teammate, Amar'e Stoudemire, is No. 14.

Anthony's rise helped the Knicks remain No. 1 in jersey sales, followed by
the Heat, Lakers, Nets and Bulls. The Knicks have maintained their position
as the best-selling team since they first topped the Bulls at the start of
the season.
甜瓜球衣销售的提升帮助尼克维持球衣销售第一名的位置，其後则分别是热火、湖人
、篮网和公牛。作为本季初就超越公牛顺利拿下联盟球衣销售最佳的球队，尼克顺利
保持着他们的位置。
