After saying he would play "for sure" tomorrow, Carmelo Anthony said
"Absolutely. Absolutely. Why not?" when he was asked by Michael Kay if the
Knicks can be a playoff team if Amar'e Stoudemire is out for the rest of the
regular season. Melo also said "I think so," about catching the Sixers (and
Celtics) for first place in the Atlantic Division. I know. I know. What is he
supposed to say? Just like when Danny Granger called the 2 games against the
Knicks "winnable." What is he supposed to say?
Carmelo also said on Kay Show he has to "definitely step it up" with all the
injuries."That’s why I came here to embrace those challenges."
