Willie Cauley-Stein can certainly guard multiple positions on the court. We
also know that the Kings are awful on defense. It’s pretty strange why
George Karl is reluctant to play his defensive-minded rookie consistently. It
has really enraged fans and now Cauley-Stein has addressed it in a very vocal
way.

很奇怪的是George Karl就是不情愿将这位拥有防守热情的新秀持续的摆在场上。
这真的是激怒了粉丝们而现在WCS也针对这点提出了些直率的发言。
“That’s funny, that’s funny, kind of flimsy, cus’ I can guard five
positions, so that’s redundant otherwise I wouldn’t be here,” Cauley-Stein
said. “There should be no matchup problems ever. So that’s just an excuse I
think. However, I’m not the coach.”
"太有趣了，真的太有趣了，(理由)有些太薄弱了，就因为我可以守五个位置，所以这是
多余的吗，否则我怎麽不能上场。"
"应该从来都没有什麽对位的问题吧。所以我想这只是个藉口。不管怎样，我不是教练。
Cauley-Stein is certainly frustrated and doesn’t understand why he
doesn’t get enough burn. The words he said were very accurate. Things need
to change soon. I think it will be very interesting how Vlade Divac responds
to these comments.
Divac is in his first year and he also drafted Cauley-Stein. I’m sure
he has a soft spot for his rookie.
WCS无疑是失望的而且他不知道为什麽他不能得到足够的上场时间。他说的一字一句都
非常精确。事情应该要快点改变。我觉得Vlade Divac如何回应这些意见将会相当有趣。
Divac是第一年在他的工作岗位上而且也选了Cauley-Stein。我很肯定他是对他的新秀
很有爱的。
Cauley-Stein has played just 14 minutes per game over his last seven
contests and an embarrassing 5 minutes against the Pelicans last Monday. That
is simply unacceptable and there is no way to justify Karl’s excuses on why he
doesn’t play him consistently.
With that said, Karl addressed Cauley-Stein’s inconsistent minutes after the
loss to the Cavaliers with some absurd comments.
Cauley-Stein在过去的七场比赛平均只上14分钟并且在上星期一面对鹈鹕的比赛更是
只上了令人尴尬的五分钟。那简直令人无法接受而且没有办法可以证明Karl的那些
关於为什麽他不让WCS持续上场的理由是正当的。
按照上述的说法，Karl在对骑士输球後也对Cauley-Stein的善变的上场时间发表了一些
不合理的意见。
“My whole feeling is, don’t overreact to the last three or four games,”
Karl said. “One, I think was matchup, two, I think was just the personality
of the game. Willie’s going to be fine, he’s going to get plenty of minutes
over these next 20 games.”
"我的想法是，别对过去三四场球有过度的反应。" Karl说。"第一，我想是对阵的问题，
第二，我想是球赛特性的问题。Willie将会很好的，在未来的20场比赛他会得到足够的
上场时间的。
I just don’t think that’s a proper response because if your goal is to win
games and it’s very clear Cauley-Stein is one of your best defenders,
if not the best, you should be playing him when it matters. Not just because
you are falling out of playoff contention.
I have been very fair about Karl’s coaching all season long but after the
disastrous loss to the Pelicans, it’s very clear to me that Karl is past his
time.
我真的不相信这是一个适当的答覆，因为如果你的目标是赢得比赛那很显然Cauley-Stein
是你最好的防守球员其中之一，就算不是最好的，你也应该在要紧的时候让他上场。
而不是因为已经掉出季後赛争夺战才让他上。
整个球季以来我都对Karl的执教相当公正，不过在对鹈鹕灾难性的输球之後，很显然
对我来说Karl已经过气了。
