He was there to take another look at Joventut point guard Ricky Rubio. Unfortunately, Rubio only played 10 minutes before leaving the game for good early in the second quarter due to injury. He finished with two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT), one rebound, and two assists. Real Madrid won the game, 79-62, to take a 1-0 series lead. The series will resume back in Barcelona on Monday. It is unknown at this time as to whether Rubio will play in Monday’s contest.
