这句文意应是翻成
「国王在正规赛末段追回五分落後，迫使（比赛）进入延长赛。」
"deficit"有「落後」的意思
"come back" 有「回神、追回」甚至「逆转」的意思
（转播中听过外国主播说 "XXX(team) has made a tremendous come-back game!"）
例句:"The team has to come back from a 3-2 deficit to win game 7 of
this series."
