David Bauman不到一天前曾和他的客户谈过话，而那个客户正是Peja。 When last they spoke, Stojakovic's only concern regarding his Kings team was how to speed up its slow start. Yet Bauman's cell phone was suddenly ringing nonstop on Monday, with word spreading that Stojakovic was a requesting a trade. 那时他们所谈的内容，Peja仅在乎如何帮起跑落後的国王队暖身然後迎头赶上。 而周一，Bauman的电话突然响个不停，全都为确认Peja要求交易的谣言而来。 "My first reaction was, "What the (...) is going on?" Bauman said. "So I called Peja and wanted to find out if anything had happened in the last 24 hours since we'd talked." 我当时的第一个反应是"你ㄨ妈的怎麽了？"Bauman这样说。 於是我打了电话给Peja，想搞清楚在我们上次讲话後的24小时内是否发生了什麽。 What had happened was an Arlington Heights Daily Herald story which stated that "rumors persist that… Stojakovic wants a trade to the Bulls or is hoping to sign here as a free agent next summer." 而找到的来源就是Arlington Heights Daily Herald发布了一篇报导， 里头说"据可靠消息指出 Peja想被交易到公牛 或者在暑假成为自由球员"。 (奇怪 @@a 他今年结束後有球员选择权 第二个根本不用强调) The report prompted various NBA Web sites to circulate the speculation that Stojakovic - who asked for a trade before last season - wanted out again. Bauman, though, said that couldn't be more false. 这篇报导快速的在各个网站蔓延开，不断推测着Peja ─ 上一季要求要交易的事 是否复发？ Bauman说，没有比这个更荒谬的了。 "We categorically deny that we're asking for a trade," Bauman said. "我们明确直接的否认我们(Peja)要求交易"Bauman说道。 "We haven't discussed free agency at all in the past two months. It's the furthest thing from his mind. I know he just wants to get the team right.
