Pop star Michael Jackson cancels Warsaw visit WARSAW, Poland (Reuters) -- U.S. pop star Michael Jackson has cancelled a visit to Warsaw after talks on building an amusement park in the Polish capital broke up, the city mayor's office said on Monday. Jackson's representatives and the mayor said in a statement the March 14-15 visit was called off after discussions with a private investor stalled. After his first visit to Warsaw in 1996 Jackson declared an interest in building a family recreation park in the city and signed a letter of intent for a $500 million project. The project was held up by difficulties in finding an appropriate site.
