事情真的这麽凑巧 话说今天看到这个乐评............................... (香港)[东Touch] 2008-5-27 《Jim》 如果你喜欢方大同，或者可check check这位Jamie Lidell。 来自英伦，虽为白人，但却拥有一把很soulful的歌声，更擅於利用咪高峰层层叠叠录下自 己的声音，将之变成human beatbox，再在上面唱歌。《Jim》是Jamie第4张专辑，继续由 电音名厂Warp Records出版，不过，Jamie并非强玩电音之人，因他始终是以Funk、Soul 作为风格的乐手、歌手，所以这张专辑依然走这种乐风，但并不太Heavy，听起来感觉是较 舒服那一类，直至听到第7首〈Hurricane〉，才换来急速节奏，再多一首快的也只是 〈Where D'You Go？〉，而结尾曲〈Rope Of Sand〉却骚怨得要命，自我重新排过歌序後 ，想跳有跳，想在深宵舒服地Soul一番也可。（关劲松） http://www.jamielidell.com/uploads/releases/medium_WARPCD160.jpg 官方网站: http://www.jamielidell.com/ .............想不到大同兄刚刚在blog内推荐这张唱片 http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/soul-boy?suc=1 listening to... I have been listening to jamie lidell for the past month...one of the coolest albums i've heard in a while. He sounds like Stevie Wonder when he was in his early 20's also a bit like curtis mayfield, donnie hathaway and a bunch of 1970's soul artists. The arrangements are very throwback and quite authentic ..."another day" reminds me of "uptight everything is alright" or "signed, sealed, delivered"(s. wonder) and "little bit of feel good" sounds like stevie's "have a talk with god" and "i wish" morphed together. jamie's "green light" is like an al green groove mixed with a bit sly and the family stone's "if you want me to stay"...it's like an accumulation of the coolest elements of 70's soul. The other thing is...he wears glasses...too...jamie lidell. this is his latest cd but his previous album "multiply" is worth checkin out also...check the new album first. --
