Tom上星期六回母校演唱!!!! 「Keane singer sings in front of a keen crowd at Roberstbridge school」 STUDENTS, parents and governors at a Robertsbridge school were extremely Keane to see the opening of school theatre after the lead singer of a Sussex rock band graced the stage. Tom Chaplin, lead singer of Keane, returned to his former school, Vinehall School in Robertsbridge, on Saturday for a gala evening to celebrate the opening of the new Chaplin Theatre – named after former headmaster David Chaplin OBE who is Tom’s father. The singer performed a collection of Keane hits as well as two of his new solo project songs in front of the packed crowd at the 260 seat venue. Vinehall Headmaster Richard Follett said “The Chaplin Theatre is long-overdue recognition of the lasting impact David Chaplin had on the school and in particular music and drama, which were great passions of his.
