Toronto FC announced Monday that it has signed Italian international
midfielder Sebastian Giovinco as a Designated Player. Giovinco will join
Toronto FC at the conclusion of the Italian Serie A season. As per club
and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Toronto FC周一宣布已经签下义大利国脚中场Sebastian Giovinco作为指定球员
(Designated Player)。Giovinco将於义甲联赛这个赛季结束後加入Toronto FC。
基於球队与联盟政策，未公开交易详情。

MLS有薪资空间限制，但为了在国际转会市场上有足够竞争力，设立了指定球员
(Designated Player)，其薪水或转会费可以不计入薪资空间限制。有关这项制度
