Among his many prestigious roles, Garimberti has served as the correspondent of Mosca and news editor of ‘ La Stampa’ in Rome, vice director of ‘La Repubblica’, director of TG2, ‘Il Venerdì’ and CNN Italia. Since 2009, he has been the chairman of Rai and was recently elected as chairman of the Euronews Supervisory Board, an important international news network.
