Time flies and life is a blur. As I sit back and reflect, all I can say is
this past year has been so crazy. The NBA and China’s relationship soured,
my friend Godfrey suddenly died filming on set, last year’s Beijing Ducks
captain G-Man was diagnosed w a terminal disease midseason and passed away,
the coronavirus became a global health emergency, and Kobe/Gianna/7 others
passed away in a tragic accident.
时光飞逝，生活似乎在恍惚中就过去。当我坐下来反思的时候，我只能说过去这一年
太疯狂了。NBA和中国的关系跌倒了冰点，我的朋友高以翔在录节目时突然去世，前
北京首钢队队长吉喆在赛季中期被诊断出绝症并去世，冠状病毒成为全球卫生紧急事
件，科比，吉安娜，以及其他7人在一场悲惨的事故中去世。
The CBA season’s been postponed indefinitely and I’m on standby, training
and staying ready if the season resumes. Since last summer I haven’t had
much to say on social media, but I felt very strongly about this post.
CBA赛季被无限期推迟了，我在待命，训练，如果赛季重新开始，我会做好准备。从去
年夏天以来，我在社交媒体上没有太多话要说，但我对这篇帖子有着很强烈的感觉。
Today isn’t guaranteed. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Nothing in life is
guaranteed. Live life to the fullest, pursue the best version of yourself. If
you aren’t content along the journey, you won’t be content at your
destination. I learned this lesson the hard way. Find joy, find purpose, find
truth. Love radically, serve generously.
你不能保证今天如何，也不能保证明天如何。生命中没有什麽是可以保证的。尽全力充实
生命，追求更好的自己。如果你对旅途不满意，你也不会对目的地满意。我有过惨痛的
经历才明白这一点。找到快乐，找到目标，找到真理。毫无保留的去爱，慷慨地服务人。
Life is too short and too precious for time to be wasted. I’ve lived in
China this past season and now being back on US soil, I’m saddened by the
racist comments regarding the virus in China. There are real people suffering
and real heroes working around the clock in service to others - please don’t
let your fear or ignorance rob you of seeing that. This world needs more
compassion and empathy. We are all imperfect humans - we all need grace. You
have one life to live, focus on what really matters in life. And pray that
God blesses us with the chance to see tmrw (pray)
生命太短暂，太宝贵了，不要浪费你的时间。这个赛季我一直住在中国，现在回到了美国
，我对有关中国疫情的种族歧视言论感到悲哀。有活生生的人在受苦，也有活生生的英雄
在昼夜不停地为他人奉献——请不要让恐惧或无知蒙蔽了你的双眼。这个世界需要更多的
同情和怜悯。我们都是不完美的人——我们都需要恩典。你只有一个人生，专注於生命中
真正重要的事情吧。用心祷告，愿上帝保佑我们有机会看到明天。
