Scott repeatedly takes Lin out when he is hot, or fails to run plays through him when he has favorable match ups. Scott controls his minutes and his usage. Scott is under no pressure to win games, so you will see more results like the NO game, where Lin is the best player on the floor for a segment and then doesn't see much action and is sent in to get the ball to others instead of looking for his own offense. It has been a pattern this month. He is shooting early and then later he gets instructions from the bench to feed the ball to others.
