They gave up high percentage shooting to the Golden State Warriors. They shot poorly from the field. They were even worse behind the arc. Defending triple threat players is tough, and Golden State has two of those guys in Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. It’s even more difficult when both guys are hot from the field. The Lakers lost 105-120. Just how bad was it? Late in the fourth quarter, the bench for the Golden State Warriors was the “ Subway Sub of the game.” The scored 46 points on 15 of 34 field goals. Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry combined for 15 of 22 from the field, for a total of 45 points. Klay Thompson played 25 minutes. Stephen Curry played 28 minutes. If there were any silver linings for the Lakers, it was Jeremy Lin coming out with a 4 of 4 shooting game, finishing with 14 points. He hit the Lakers only 3-point field goal attempt, and hit 5 of 6 from the free throw line in under 22 minutes of play. Julius Randle contributed an additional 12 points in 18 minutes of play. Jordan Hill looked like Jordan Hill for the first few minutes of the third quarter, and that was it. Like Ed Davis, he showed a high amount of productivity in limited playing time. As a starter, he’s struggling to find the bounce to his step. His jumpshot is suspect. After halftime, he hit an 18 ′ jumpshot, blocked a David Lee layup attempt, and scored a tip-in off of a Kobe Bryant miss. That occurred in a 3:00 span. The rest of the game, his presence wasn’t as strongly felt. This time around, Lin didn’t get as many pick-and-roll situations with Ed Davis. He looked for his shot, especially with dribble penetration. He was a more effective finisher, and was able to draw fouls against the defense. He was more into his element as a scorer, and even showed a Nash-like probing of the defense off-the-dribble. That led to an easy lay up for him. More importantly, he’s doing a far better job taking care of the basketball. Through two games, he has 14 total assists on 2 turnovers. Henry is expected to return the practice soon. Ryan Kelly is still recovering from a modern hamstring injury. Wesley Johnson’s knee injury from the first preseason game doesn’t seem to be affecting him. (这段说Clarkson, Young, Henry, Wesley, Kelly伤病状况) 4. Julius Randle is getting into foul trouble. Julius Randle was substituted into the game late in the first quarter. He picked up three fouls early in the game, and that broke his rhythm. However, once he settled down defensively, his aggression on offense began to show. Part of being a rookie is learning to stay on the floor. Byron Scott had mentioned that he wanted Randle to be in better shape. Conditioning wasn’t too much of an issue considering his aggression late in the game. Staying grounded defensively, was. The Golden State Warriors have two of the best shooters in the league. It gets worse than that. Not only were Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry on fire from the field, but Jason Kapono, David Lee, Brandon Rush, and Marreesse Speights all chipped in from the perimeter as well. The Golden State Warriors finished the game shooting 56% from the field. They were 12 of 21 behind the 3-point line. Help-the-helper defense works well, but only when players have great court awareness, communication, and reaction to the ball. Once a late rotation is made after the ball gets swung a couple of times, a jumpshooting team will make them pay. Tonight’s game should provide plenty of game tape to learn from. Steve Nash was noticeably absent from tonight’s game, despite being 100% ready to go. As great as Jeremy Lin played tonight, Nash’ s efficiency on offense was sorely missed. It could not be matched by Ronnie Price. 湖人赢了金块，对勇士却是一个值得反覆检讨的教训，在今晚Nash缺席，缺少了Nash进 攻的效率，在Lin表现很好的情况下，Nash恐怕还是难以以Ronnie Price取代。 --
