标题[情报] Indians acquire P Salas, designate former prospect Marte

CLEVELAND (TICKER) —The Cleveland Indians made a pair of roster moves Thursday
, acquiring reliever Juan Salas from the Tampa Bay Rays and designating
infielder Andy Marte for assignment.
Salas, who made five appearances with the Rays last year, was sent to Cleveland
for minor league infielder Isaias Velasquez.
Marte, a former top prospect of the Atlanta Braves, joined the Indians in
January 2006 in the seven-player deal that sent Coco Crisp to the Boston Red
Sox. The 24-year-old Marte is a career .211 hitter in 174 career games with
Atlanta and Cleveland.
