It was a bit of a surprise that the Indians decided to designate Jason Davis
for assignment when they recalled Mujica.
Davis has a ton of potential, but has never been able to harness his talent,
and emotions, and be consistently successful on the major league level,
either as a starter or reliever.
It’ll be interesting to see if anyone is interested in trading for his
services. It’ll also be interesting to see whether he will agree to stay
with the Indians at Triple-A if indeed he is not traded and clears waivers.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he decides to get a fresh start with another
organization, if indeed one is interested. I’d like to see him get a chance
to once again be a starter, although some people are convinced he is better
coming out of the bullpen.

BTW, 本来之前有在传他可能在季中被交易掉，没想到才五月就先来个 DFA。
