He is currently the No. 1 starter on the Chinese Taipei National Team that is currently touring the United States and he is scheduled to pitch for Taiwan in the World Championships, August 4-15, in Havana, Cuba. On Tuesday, July 4 he tossed 5.0 shutout innings (5.0IP, 2H, 0R, 0BB, 4K) against the United States National Team, which is comprised of the top college players in America. The 5-11 right-hander pitched at the collegiate level for the National Taiwan College of Physical Education in 2005 and 2006 where he was a combined 14-0 over the two seasons and was named Taiwan's Amateur Pitcher of the Year in 2006.
