根据
https://travel.state.gov，出生证明（Birth Certificates）仅接受由
户政事务所提供的个人户籍誊本（Ge Ren Hu Ji Teng Ben）中文英文对照版。

您好，分享准备 I-485 出生证明文件的心得，供参考。
出生证明应为当地政府（civil authority）出具之出生证明，
也就是户政事务所出具的出生证明。
因户政事务所未提供英文译本，仅能申请中文出生证明再设法翻译。
翻译文件仅要求附上翻译者凭证（Certification）。将下方范例附於文件底部即可。

I, <Translator Name>, certify that I am fluent in the English and Chinese
languages, and that the above document is an accurate translation of the
document attached entitiled: <Document name>.
Date: <Translator Sign Date>

2018年申请时，我是附上户政事务所中文出生证明与英文译本（翻译者凭证是请熟稔
英文的朋友签名）。以及，医院开立的英文出生证明（这应该是多余的）。
法院跟外交部公证应非必须，I-485 说明书并未要求。
户口名簿的翻译是Household Registration，理应无法作为出生证明。
当然，人品大爆发的时候，朋友在DMV问What is illegal？都可以获得承办人员直接代为
填表，自行在系统里搜寻需要资讯，办到驾照。没有什麽事情是不可能的。

must also submit a full English translation. The translator must sign
a certification that the English language translation is complete and
accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign
language into English. The certification must include the translator's
signature. DHS recommends the certification contain the translator's
printed name and the date and the translator's contact information.

photocopy of their birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil
