标题[问题] 绿卡乐透AOS下的I-485提出时间?

请问前辈, 我人在美国(H4签证), 打算用AOS跑完2018绿卡乐透的程序.
在USCIS网站上读到,
As soon as a monthly Visa Bulletin is published, anyone with a lower
rank number than the rank cut-off number shown in Section C is
eligible to file for adjustment of status.
(1)这是指我须在cut-off number 叫到我时才能提出I-485吗?
(2)我现在打的如意算盘是, 一提出I-485就去申请EAD(工作卡) 赶快找工作.
所以不打算用CP 跑完绿卡乐透程序, 这会是个好主意吗?
