趁现在记忆犹新,分享一下。 10/01/14 寄件 10/03/14 收件 10/27/14 压指纹 12/03/14 面试 12/17/14 宣誓 地点在Sacramento 联邦大楼里,信里说不要太早去,预定时间是一点。 所以我也没有很早去,工作差不多时吃个简单的午餐, 就开车过去,到的时候找了一下停车场,所以排队要进联邦大楼还有10分就1点。 没有很多人,不过因为check的过程很缓慢,一点时才进入大楼,又找了一下移民局办公室在 哪。 到的时候,把appointment letter给柜台算是check in. 大概等了15分钟吧,然後就进去面试。 面试一开始先发誓说所说的都是属实。 接下来Check资料,问一下东西的细节。 就开始考试: 8. What did the Declaration of Independence do? 13. Name one branch or part of the government.* 19. We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years? 31. If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President? 35. What does the President’s Cabinet do? 39. How many justices are on the Supreme Court? 感觉上是看着电脑随机问,不确定。 接着考reading and writing. Reading: What is the country is south of the U.S. ? Writing: Mexico is south of the United State. 签名,然後说两星期後参加规画典礼,记得带这张form并签名。也要带绿卡。 就这样子,然後就掰掰。面试过程大概10-15分钟。 -- “We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand.” —Randy Pausch --
