Posted on 2013-08-02 08:03:07 International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT) is proud and honored to announce that we have passed the 100,000 “like” milestone on our official Facebook page as of July 31st 2013, making ICRT’s Facebook site the most popular of any radio station in Taiwan. We are grateful for the support of our devoted listeners as we strive to fulfill our mission of serving both the local and international English-speaking community in Taiwan. ICRT believes that Facebook offers a unique platform for direct interaction with our listeners. On Facebook, we welcome messages, comments and requests. All ICRT DJs have their own Facebook page, and we enthusiastically welcome the public to comment or interact with our DJs directly through Facebook. Building on our success in social media, we are also pleased to announce that the station’s official mobile App is scheduled for launch as a free download by the end of September 2013. The ICRT App will enable listeners to enjoy quality English programming and music from any smartphone or mobile device-for free, whenever and wherever a listener chooses. As part of ICRT’s mobile strategy, we will also soon be offering a greater variety of podcasts, streaming content and on-demand programs so as to allow those who may not be able to access terrestrial radio a chance to listen to our content with fewer limitations. Finally, ICRT has also recently put out a survey on our nighttime programming (available on our website www.icrt.com.tw and our Facebook page) and we encourage all who have an opinion on our evening content to let their voice be heard by responding to the survey.
