The 20-year-old earned the vote of his fellow professionals after a stunning first campaign in the Premier League. In doing so, Dele held off the challenge of team-mate Harry Kane, Everton pair Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku, Jack Butland of Stoke and Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho. The award has been announced at the PFA'a annual ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel, London, this evening (Sunday, April 24). It's been quite a season for Dele. Signed in January last year, he stayed at MK Dons and helped them to promotion to the Championship from League One last term. Joining us in July, Dele made his debut off the bench at Old Trafford, scored his first goal at Leicester in August and made his first start at Sunderland in September. Since then, he's started 27 of 30 matches in the Premier League and scored another nine goals to take his PL tally to 10. His form caught the eye of England boss Roy Hodgson who handed him his senior debut in October and first start in the friendly against France in November - he responded with a 25-yarder into the top corner at Wembley.
