We will be joined by the likes of AC Milan, Benfica and Sevilla when the UEFA Cup kicks-off again next season. Valencia, FK Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade), CSKA, Sampdoria, Paris SG, Borussia Dortmund, Hertha Berlin, Ajax and Feyenoord are also some of the big names in the competition alongside our Premier League rivals Manchester City, Everton and Portsmouth. Last season's winners, Zenit St Petersburg, are in the Champions League. We will enter the competition at the first round stage where victory over two legs will book a place in the group stages - eight groups of five teams. A date for the diary is August 29, when the draw for the first round will be made in Monaco. The first round is scheduled for September 18 and October 2.
