Juande Ramos underlined the importance of bouncing back from successive defeats after Sunday's 4-0 victory against West Ham. Two identical headers from Dimitar Berbatov from Tom Huddlestone free-kicks put us firmly in the driving seat with substitutes Gilberto and Darren Bent capping the perfect afternoon with late goals. Both late goals carried significance - it was Gilberto’s first for the club and he became only the ninth Spur to score on his league debut. Meanwhile, Darren’s fine header in injury time was the 100th goal of his career in just 246 matches for Ipswich, Charlton and Spurs. “It was important to have a victory in order to recover some confidence,” said Head Coach Juande. “We had a difficult match against PSV and it was important to get a good result after two defeats. “The early goals made winning the game much easier, I saw the team was much calmer and reassured and we were in control for large parts of the match.
