Juande Ramos switched his focus to Thursday's UEFA Cup clash against PSV immediately after Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Birmingham City. It turned into a game to forget at St Andrews despite a 60-40 count in our favour in terms of possession and firing more efforts at goal than the home side. However, the Blues were clinical in front of goal led by hat-trick hero Mikael Forssell with the fourth goal via Sebastian Larsson's free-kick. A goal back at 1-0, 2-0 or even 3-0 might have changed the game as we continued to enjoy long spells of possession but it wasn't to be. Head Coach Juande had no intention of dwelling on the defeat with the Round of 16 home leg against the Dutch giants only a few days away. The first leg is at the Lane on Thursday, the second leg in Holland on Wednesday March 13. "It’s fair to say that the players showed less than full concentration and that they need to play at a continuing level as they have done previously," stated Juande. "The team must not allow themselves to relax and I hope they show what they are made of later this week in the UEFA competition." Juande was without three centre-backs - Michael Dawson, Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King - at St Andrews. "We hope to have one or two players back from injury," he added. "One or two are suffering from little knocks at the moment.
