DIDIER IN SEMIS
Didier Zokora's Ivory Coast crushed Guinea to cruise into the semi-finals of
the African Cup of Nations on Sunday night.
Didier put in another full shift in central defence but was hardly tested as
the Elephants ran out 5-0 winners in the quarter-final in Sekondi, Ghana.
Salomon Kalou (2), Abdelkader Keita, Didier Drogba and Bakary Kone scored for
the Ivory Coast who will play either reigning champions Egypt or Angola in
the last four on Thursday.
Ghana also progressed to the semi-finals on Sunday with the fourth
quarter-final between Tunisia and Cameroon.
