We have reached agreement for the permanent transfer of Philip Ifil to
Colchester United.
A product of our Academy, Phil broke into the first team ranks at the age of
17 when he made his Premier League debut against Liverpool at the Lane in
August, 2004.
A regular captain of our reserves, he made five first team appearances for us
in total.
Phil has recently spent time on loan in the Championship at Southampton,
where he’s played 12 games since the end of September.
We wish Phil all the best for the future.
