Sky Sports News understands Sevilla discussed the situation long into the night after Jol's exit was confirmed by Spurs after the Uefa Cup defeat to Getafe. The Spanish club also sent sporting director Ramon Rodriguez Monchi to White Hart Lane for a meeting on the matter. It is understood that Sevilla are now deliberating over whether to let Ramos go and, if so, how much compensation to demand. Reports have suggested that Ramos could be installed as Spurs' new manager next week, if Sevilla agree to his departure. Ramos' profile has soared over the past two seasons after he guided Sevilla to back-to-back victories in the Uefa Cup.
