Ben Alnwick and Phil Ifil have joined Luton Town and Southampton respectively
on three-month loan deals.
England Under-21 international goalkeeper Ben made six appearances for our
Reserve side last season following his signing from Sunderland in January and
has featured in a further two games so far in this campaign.
The 20-year-old made his debut for England Under-21s when he played in the
second half of the friendly against Romania in August.
Defender Phil, also 20, made a successful return to the first-team fold last
season with starts against Port Vale and Wigan.
Captain of our reserve side this season, Phil previously enjoyed a loan spell
at Millwall, where he made 17 appearances in 2005-06.
