Defoe set to quit Spurs
The Daily Star and the Daily Mail have reported that Jermain Defoe has rejected
a new 5 year deal with Tottenham.
Speculation has surrounded the England striker's future since the reports
starting to link Darren Bent with a move to WHL and it is now believed that a
bidding war for Defoe may start.
Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United
have all been linked with moves for Defoe, with 10 million believed to be the
asking price.
