Arsenal are not renowned for their prowess from set-pieces, and now Berbatov has criticised his defensive colleagues for their brittle display on Saturday afternoon. Spurs' draw allowed Reading to overtake them and move into seventh place, albeit having played a game more, and Berbatov - who was named in the Premiership Team of the Year on Sunday night - is worried that defensive lapses could cost the side a Uefa Cup spot. "If we carry on defending like that then we won't qualify for Europe next season," said Berbatov in The Sun. "We must think more when we play and sometimes we don't. Arsenal took the initiative and scored twice. "We were stupid to allow those goals and we must stop that if we want to achieve something. "We could have won the game.
